I wanted to create a train station for a fictional Victorian town outside of London. The town is trying to keep up with the hustle and bustle of inner city London, echoing elements of Big Ben. Cloverton is a town dubbed after its lush clover fields, and I wanted that iconography to be present in the design.
For the early process sketches I was quickly trying to think of big ideas and shapes, before committing to a bigger idea. I still find starting in my sketchbook sometimes yields the best ideas over desk time at tablet.
